We have a Senior role for an experienced Construction Director on a large infrastructure project in the Dublin area. This is a long-term contract role and will suit a day rate contractor.

The role:

· The project involves a huge capital investment in a key national transport asset over the next decade.

· Working on behalf of the client, you and your team will supervise the delivery of a wide suite of projects by a series of main contractors.

· You will report to the client on all project elements - including ongoing progress, project risks, areas of concern and potential hurdles to costs and programme.

· This is primarily a "boots on the ground" role as opposed to an office-based role.

The ideal candidate:

· A professional construction related qualification - engineering, project management, architecture, construction management or similar

· 20 years' experience on construction sites, ideally with some large project experience

· An ability to communicate with contracts managers and project managers working for main contractors and then translate this messaging to client-side reporting
