Commercial Executive - Newly Qualified Accountant

Morgan McKinley are delighted to be partnering with a leading global FMCG company to hire an exceptional newly qualified accountant to take on a unique commercial opportunity.

This is a role for someone who wants to be much more than an accountant.

You will work directly alongside the Managing Director, acting as a key commercial support and sounding board across business performance, strategic projects, market analysis and decision-making.

THE OPPORTUNITY

You will gain an unusually broad level of exposure to how a successful FMCG business is actually run.

Working closely with the Managing Director, you will:

• Analyse business performance and turn data into meaningful commercial insight
• Prepare analysis and recommendations to support senior-level decision making
• Develop presentations and materials for leadership meetings and business reviews
• Analyse markets, competitors and commercial performance to identify opportunities
• Support the evaluation of new business initiatives and strategic projects
• Work across different parts of the organisation and gain exposure to senior stakeholders
• Help drive and track strategic projects from idea through to execution
• Get involved in high-priority projects and business planning as they arise

The role sits at the intersection of finance, strategy, commercial performance and leadership.
