Contract Position | Multinational Client | Hybrid with Dublin office
Job Overview:
This Cloud Solution Architect role is a deep technical role, working with our client's customers to build technical capability, create innovative solutions to their business challenges and uncover new workloads that could be migrated to our client's platform.
We are looking for a highly motivated and passionate Cloud Solution Architect to drive high priority customer initiatives in collaboration with customers in the strategic accounts segment of their business. This is a customer facing role, owning the overall technical relationship between customer and the client platform
This role will own the technical customer engagement including architectural design sessions, specific implementation projects and Proofs of Concepts as well as collaborating with other parts of the client and their partners, always with the Customers' needs at the heart of everything you do.
Ideal Candidate:
Professional
-3+ years of success in complex technical sales and deployment projects, architecture, design, implementation, and/or support of highly distributed applications
-Relationship Building. Proven record of accomplishment of building deep technical relationships with senior IT executives in large or highly strategic accounts. Experience in managing various stakeholder relationships to get consensus on solutions/projects.
-Collaboration and Communication. Acknowledged driving decisions collaboratively, resolving conflicts and ensuring follow through with exceptional verbal and written communication skills. The ability to orchestrate, lead, and influence virtual teams, ensuring successful implementation of customer projects. Presentation skills with a high degree of comfort with both large and small audiences (Senior Executives, IT management, Database administrators and Data Scientist)
-Problem Solver. The ability to solve customer problems through cloud technologies.
-Collaborative. Orchestrate and influence virtual teams to pursue sales opportunities and lead v-teams through influence.
Technical
- Enterprise-scale technical experience with cloud and hybrid infrastructures, architecture designs, migration, and technology management
- Experience and understanding of large-scale application portfolios in enterprise-wide environments (including migration of on-premises workloads to the cloud)
Deep expertise in one or more of the following
-Enterprise-scale technical experience with cloud and hybrid infrastructures, architecture designs, database migrations, and technology management required.
-Breadth of technical experience and knowledge, with depth / Subject Matter Expertise in two or more of the following Data Platform Cloud solutions required:
-Azure Cognitive Services
-Azure Cognitive Search
-Azure OpenAI
-SQL including OSS (postgress, MySQL etc), Azure SQL
-NoSQL Databases including OSS (Maria, Mongo etc), Cosmos DB
-Big Data including Azure Synapse, Snowflake, Big Query, Redshift
-Advanced Analytics including Azure Databricks, visualization tools as PowerBI, Tableau
-Data Governance
-Data Science
-Machine Learning including Azure ML, ML Server
-Expertise in data estate workloads like HDInsight, Hadoop, Cloudera, Spark, Python required
-The technical aptitude and experience to learn new technologies and understand relevant cloud trend required.
-Competitive Landscape: Knowledge of cloud development platforms preferred.
-Partners: Understanding of partner ecosystems and the ability to leverage partner solutions to solve customer needs preferred Education.
Education and Certifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering Data Science/ML/AI, or related field experience.
- Certification in one or more of the following technologies preferred: Azure, Containers, Databases, Big Data, Data Science/ML/AI
