Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer with strong expertise in network automation and Layer 2/Layer 3 switching for on-site support. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing network infrastructure while driving automation initiatives to improve efficiency, reliability, and scalability.
Key Responsibilities

Network Infrastructure: Design, configure, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure, focusing on Layer 2/Layer 3 switching technologies.

Network Automation: Develop and implement automation solutions using scripting and orchestration tools to streamline provisioning, configuration, and troubleshooting.

Performance & Security: Manage and optimize network performance, availability, and security across data center and campus environments.

Troubleshooting: Resolve complex network issues and perform root cause analysis.

Collaboration & Operations: Work alongside cross-functional teams to support network integration, deployment efforts, change management, incident response, and continuous improvement initiatives
Required Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of dedicated network engineering experience.

Certification: CCNP-level knowledge or equivalent practical expertise.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).

Networking Expertise:

Advanced proficiency with Layer 2/Layer 3 switching (VLANs, VRRP, MC-LAG, STP, VTP, PortChannel).

Solid command of enterprise routing protocols (OSPF, BGP).

Comprehensive understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and network security fundamentals.

Automation & Scripting:

Practical experience with network automation frameworks (e.g., Python, Ansible).

Working knowledge of REST APIs and network programmability concepts.

Hands-on familiarity across major enterprise networking platforms.
