Senior Data Engineer
6-Month Contract | Cork (Hybrid) | Daily Rate
The Opportunity
On behalf of my client I'm seeking an experienced Microsoft Fabric Data Engineer for a 6-month contract to support the development of enterprise data products.
This is a hands-on role requiring strong data engineering skills, experience building data pipelines and the ability to transform raw operational data into structured, reusable data products.
Key Responsibilities

Design and develop data pipelines within Microsoft Fabric.

Integrate, extract and transform ServiceNow data using APIs and connectors.

Build and maintain Fabric Lakehouses, Warehouses and data models.

Develop reusable data products to support reporting and analytics.

Implement data quality, validation and governance processes.

Work with technical teams and stakeholders to deliver scalable data solutions.
Required Skills & Experience

Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric.

Proven experience building data products and data pipelines.

Previous experience integrating ServiceNow data.

Strong SQL skills and experience with Python/PySpark.

Experience with Lakehouse, Warehouse and Data Factory components.

Knowledge of REST APIs and enterprise data integration.

Understanding of data modelling and data governance.
Desirable
-
Experience with ServiceNow ITSM, CMDB or asset management data.

Azure Data Factory, Databricks or Azure Data Lake experience.

Power BI and enterprise analytics experience.
