Key Responsibilities:
- Trusted Advisor: Serve as a trusted advisor to managers and associates by providing professional, proactive HR support to meet business needs.
- Employee Lifecycle Support: Oversee key employee lifecycle events such as onboarding, performance management, and employee development initiatives to enhance the overall employee experience.
- Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships across the business to deliver high-quality HR services tailored to the needs of each department.
- Statutory Compliance & HR Best Practices: Offer expert advice to managers and associates on statutory compliance and HR best practices, covering areas such as disciplinary processes, grievances, maternity leave, and other HR-related matters.
- Collaboration with Off-Shore Teams: Work closely with off-shore administration teams to ensure the delivery of robust and seamless HR administrative services.
- HR Implementation Plans: Contribute to the design and execution of HR implementation plans, with a focus on enhancing employee engagement and fostering a positive workplace culture.
- Project Support: Support and lead HR-related projects, including induction programs, performance management systems, and Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DE&I) initiatives.
- People Perspective in Business Initiatives: Provide HR insights and support for business unit-related projects and implementations, ensuring that people considerations are effectively integrated.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Educational Background: A degree in Human Resources or a related discipline is essential.
- Professional Experience: A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar HR role, preferably within a professional services environment, where you have provided expert advice to managers and employees.
- HR Knowledge: In-depth understanding of HR best practices, including a strong grasp of statutory compliance in Ireland.
- Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex HR concepts clearly and effectively.
- Relationship Management: Proven ability to build effective relationships and work collaboratively across all levels of the organisation.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, coupled with the capability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
