Seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join a high-impact change programme within the Funds division. You will act as the critical link between business stakeholders and technical teams, translating complex data and operational requirements into clear, actionable solutions. This is a hands-on role with strong visibility across front-to-back fund operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Elicit, document, and manage business requirements across funds data and reporting workstreams
- Analyse current-state data flows, systems, and processes across fund administration, NAV production, or investment operations
- Produce high-quality artefacts including BRDs, functional specifications, process maps, user stories, and data dictionaries
- Liaise with data engineering and technology teams to support data migration, integration, and reporting initiatives
- Facilitate workshops and stakeholder sessions across business and IT functions
- Perform gap analysis, impact assessments, and UAT coordination
- Support governance and sign-off processes in line with change frameworks
Required Experience
- Minimum 4+ years' experience as a Business Analyst in financial services
- Strong domain knowledge across funds - fund administration, transfer agency, NAV, or investment operations
- Demonstrated experience working on data-heavy projects: data migration, reporting platforms, data warehousing, or regulatory data
- Proficiency in requirements documentation and modelling tools (e.g. Visio, Confluence, JIRA)
- Ability to interpret and interrogate data using SQL or equivalent; familiarity with data governance principles
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage at all levels
Desirable
- Exposure to platforms such as Charles River, SimCorp, Bloomberg, or similar fund/investment systems
- Experience in regulatory or compliance-driven data projects (e.g. EMIR, AIFMD, MiFID II)
- Relevant professional qualification (CBAP, PMI-PBA, or equivalent)
