Business Analyst

We are working with a leading financial services organisation that is embarking on a major transformation programme. As part of this strategic change, they are looking to hire a permanent Business Analyst to join their growing transformation team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Business Analyst with a background in financial services or banking to contribute to high-impact initiatives that will modernise core systems, optimise processes, and improve customer and internal experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to elicit, define, and document detailed business and functional requirements
• Analyse existing processes and identify areas for efficiency, automation, or redesign
• Work closely with transformation, technology, and operations teams to shape and deliver change initiatives
• Create process maps, user stories, and business cases to support decision-making
• Ensure traceability of requirements through development, testing, and implementation
• Support change management and communication activities to ensure successful adoption of new processes and systems
• Facilitate workshops, stakeholder meetings, and user interviews
• Assist with planning and execution of user acceptance testing (UAT)

Key Skills & Experience

• Strong experience as a Business Analyst within the financial services or banking sector
• Demonstrated involvement in transformation or change programmes (e.g., systems upgrades, operational improvements, regulatory change)
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills across business and technical teams
• Proficient in requirements gathering, process analysis, and documentation
• Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methodologies
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment

Desirable

• Experience with enterprise systems (e.g., core banking platforms, CRM, ERP)
• Business analysis certification (e.g., IIBA, BCS, CBAP)
• Exposure to regulatory or digital transformation projects
