Building Automation Engineer

My client is looking for an Automation Engineer who will support the Building Automation System (BAS) and other Utility Automation Systems as required. This is a 12 month hourly rate contract.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support upgrade projects.
• Provide troubleshooting and hands-on support to resolve technical issues.
• Creating and carrying out test procedures and automation change controls.
• Training maintenance and operative staff where appropriate.
• Work closely with other cross functional teams such as operations, HVAC engineers, utility engineers, electrical team and projects team.
• Collaborate with internal resources & external engineers to maintain sustaining operation of the BAS.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Experience working with Air Handling Units / HVAC and other critical utility systems.
• Good organising and planning skills.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Problem solver with a focus on achievement of overall project goals.
