Job Mission
An exciting opportunity exists for a Field Service Engineer (HVAC) to support customers across the Dublin region. This is a field-based role requiring regular travel. The role focuses on delivering high-quality service and technical support for humidity control and air-handling equipment, adding measurable value to customer operations while consistently meeting service, safety, and performance expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver accurate, timely, and high-quality servicing for contracted customers in line with company standards and health & safety requirements
- Diagnose equipment faults and accurately identify, replace, or recommend spare components to restore or enhance system performance
Provide clear technical recommendations to customers regarding critical spares, repairs, and refurbishment requirements
- Perform airflow measurements and system performance assessments in accordance with standard operating procedures
- Carry out equipment upgrades, refurbishments, and modifications either on-site or at a designated workshop facility
- Ensure servicing activities align with agreed scopes of work, timelines, and customer quotations
- Complete equipment commissioning, setup, and performance verification in a timely and accurate manner
- Produce clear, professional technical service reports and submit them daily to internal support teams
- Complete and submit all required health and safety documentation for each site visit
- Identify additional service opportunities with both existing and new customers
- Maintain a professional appearance and represent the organisation as a trusted technical specialist
- Support colleagues outside the assigned geographic area when required to optimise resource utilisation
- Independently manage service contracts within an assigned region to maximise service efficiency
- Monitor and report competitive market activity where observed
- Actively contribute to team performance, maintaining a positive and collaborative working attitude
- Participate fully in all training, certification, and professional development activities
- Comply at all times with statutory, company, and customer health and safety policies and site procedures
- Where required, support other engineering functions such as project engineering, sales support, or technical product support, subject to management approval
Skills and Experience Required
- Minimum 3 years' field service experience with engineered or capital equipment
- Solid HVAC industry knowledge, particularly air handling and humidity control systems
- Proven ability to diagnose electrical and mechanical faults and quantify impact and remedial actions
