Billing Specialist-Dublin City Centre
We are seeking a detail-oriented proactive Billing Specialist, based in the Finance department supporting a top tier legal firm. This individual will be responsible for coordinating and processing the billing function whilst ensuring timely and accurate billing for clients.

Core Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with internal teams to set up new payers and ensure smooth onboarding.
- Prepare draft bills and verify details, including VAT checks, before final review.
- Respond promptly to queries, supporting colleagues and providing cover as needed.
- Agree billing schedules with relevant stakeholders and ensure timely execution.
- Issue final bills, including e-bills, and track dispatch dates while notifying relevant recipients.
- Review WIP to confirm what is ready to be billed according to the agreed timetable.
- Manage initial client set-up and document billing requirements for the billing team.
- Collaborate with Credit Control on credit notes, bill re-issues, and debtor follow-up.
- Resolve WIP write-downs and handle time transfers efficiently.
Key Skills/Qualifications:
- 1-4 years experience within a Billing role.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to speak with decision makers.
- Skilled at prioritising tasks and balancing competing demands from multiple stakeholders.
- Proactive and well-organized, taking ownership of tasks to ensure accurate and timely delivery.
- Collaborative team player with excellent time management and a positive, professional attitude.
- Eager to grow and build a career in billing.
- Experienced with MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) and familiar with practice management systems.
