The organisation wishes to establish a panel of qualified professionals for a number of positions in its expanding Transport Regulation Directorate. This Directorate operates the regulatory, licensing, compliance and enforcement requirements of EU Passenger Rights, Vehicle Clamping, Commercial Bus and the SPSV industry (taxi, hackney, limousine vehicles and drivers together with transport booking services like taxi apps). Candidates are required to provide temporary cover with the Vehicle Clamping Regulation Section.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
It is expected that the candidate shall be in a position to deliver on several of the following for the Directorate:
* Complaint and appeal analysis and decision making;
* Undertake research and analysis to prepare reports to assist management decision making;
* Extract and interpret numerical information, conducting accurate numerical calculations;
* Develop and maintain standard operating process/procedure documents;
* Gather material to assist in replies to Freedom of information & Data Protections requests, media enquiries and government representative questions within required timeframes;
* Coordinate and draft communications and newsletters including updating the organisation's website;
* Supervise quality control, working with a provider(s) to report on activity and cost controls;
* Assist with team testing of IT systems in the Directorate to help identify issues and improvements;
* General administration including, meeting preparation and note/minute taking, post and mailbox management; and
* Participate in other organisation projects and initiatives as required.
