Our client is seeking an experienced Technical Business Analysts to support a portfolio of transformation and system enhancement projects within the utilities sector.
- Initial 3-6 month contract
- Strong potential for extension
- Immediate start preferred (up to 4 weeks for the right candidate)
- Occasional travel to Dublin, ad-hoc
Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end business analysis activities across complex technology and transformation projects.
- Elicit, analyse and document detailed business and functional requirements
- Produce high-quality artefacts including BRDs, FRDs, user stories, process maps, use cases and impact assessments
- Step into well-progressed projects and quickly assume ownership of workstreams
- Engage senior stakeholders to validate scope, clarify requirements and manage expectations
- Translate business needs into clear functional specifications for technical teams
- Support solution design workshops and provide functional input into system configuration and implementation
- Identify risks, gaps and dependencies across project streams
- Contribute to business case refinement and scope definition on new initiatives
- Ensure alignment between business objectives and technical delivery
- Operate independently with minimal onboarding time and mobilise quickly within established teams
- (Desirable) Apply domain knowledge within utilities or regulated environments
Requirements:
- Experience in all or one of the following technical environments: Microsoft Dynamics 365, ServiceNow, Maximo, Application/platform enhancement projects
- Strong technical BA profile (10+ years)
- Extensive experience writing business and functional requirements
- Ability to step into well-progressed projects and mobilise quickly
- Utilities experience beneficial
