The Company

Our client is one of Ireland's largest and most reputable main contractors, with a strong track record delivering high-profile, large-scale projects across the pharmaceutical, commercial, and industrial sectors. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a Site Engineer to join their team on a major pharmaceutical development in Cork.

The Role

As a Site Engineer, you will play a key role in the successful delivery of this large-scale pharmaceutical project. You will be responsible for supporting the site management team, ensuring works are carried out to the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Setting out, levelling, and surveying the site
• Ensuring all works are carried out in line with project specifications and drawings
• Coordinating with subcontractors and site teams
• Maintaining accurate site records and documentation
• Assisting with quality control and health & safety compliance
• Supporting the Site Manager and Project Manager with daily operations

Requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
• Minimum 3 years' experience in a Site Engineer role
• Experience working on large-scale construction projects (pharmaceutical or industrial experience advantageous)
• Strong setting out and surveying skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Proactive and detail-oriented approach
