We have an excellent new opportunity for a MEP Coordinator to work on major projects with a Main Contractor based in Cork.
This role would suit someone with approx 4 to 5 Years commercial experience.
As part of the day to day you will:
- Coordinate all phases of the MEP Services
- Fully engage in Pre-Construction & Planning, Construction, Testing, Commissioning & Verification
- Co-ordinate Design Team information & Technical Submittals in line with the Project Schedule
- Track and manage the flow of information between the Design Team and Specialist Subcontractors
- Ensure implementation of the MEP deliverables
- Monitor all Installations ensuring all stage checks are completed in accordance with Specifications/Approved Submittals
- Provide the Project Teams with updates on MEP installation and progress with Weekly Report-Out
- Ensure that the MEP works on site are in line with all Health and Safety Standards
- Demonstration of MEP Systems to Client / Client Representatives in accordance with Design Parameters.
- Coordination and timely submittal of the Safety File Data for the Client on Project Completion.
- Assist in the production and upload of BCAR documentation
To be considered you should have:
- A relevant Third Level or Professional Qualification
- 4-5 years' experience in a similar role
- Excellent IT skills and a strong working knowledge of Microsoft suite
- Ability to navigate BIM Models
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Good planning and organisation skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and within a strict deadline environment
- Excellent time management & organisational skills
- Knowledge of Cause & Effect
- Experience of Building commissioning including W1/W2/W3 walkdowns & Handovers
