Senior Financial Analyst
A global organisation is currently seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join its finance function. This position offers excellent exposure to international operations and the opportunity to work closely with a wide range of internal teams while contributing to financial reporting, analysis, and process improvement initiatives within a fast-paced multinational environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the month-end close process, including review activities, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial analysis to support accurate reporting
- Partner with a variety of internal stakeholders across finance and other departments such as treasury, tax, legal, and communications
- Work with international accounting teams to support consistent processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and standardisation
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements in line with relevant accounting standards
- Prepare and review statutory trial balances, including adjustments required under local GAAP
- Support the external audit process and assist with audit queries and documentation
- Assess accounting treatment for complex transactions and ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues across different regions while managing responsibilities independently and proactively
Requirements
- Professionally qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent)
- Experience in financial reporting or accounting within a multinational company or professional services environment
Desirable Experience
- Ability to communicate financial information clearly to a range of stakeholders
- Experience identifying opportunities to streamline processes, improve reporting, or introduce automation
- Knowledge of IFRS or other international accounting standards
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Advanced Excel skills and strong interest in financial systems and technology
