The Opportunity
My client is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join their FP&A team, supporting key business units. This is a highly visible role where you will contribute to planning cycles, deliver financial insights, and drive operational performance. Key Responsibilities
- Partner with business leaders to develop annual budgets and quarterly forecasts.
- Analyse departmental spending and ensure accurate expense recognition with appropriate journal entries.
- Provide clear, data-backed insights to support cost management and investment decisions.
- Prepare monthly variance analysis and commentary for management reporting.
- Identify and implement improvements to processes, reporting, and efficiencies.
- Support ad-hoc requests and develop new opportunities for financial analysis across general & administrative areas.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting required.
- At least 3 years' experience in financial planning & analysis; experience in global expense planning preferred.
- Strong analytical capabilities with demonstrated use of data to inform decisions.
- Excellent Excel skills; SAP knowledge would be an advantage.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong communicator, comfortable presenting findings across all levels of an organisation.
- Collaborative team player with initiative to work independently.
- Process improvement mindset with experience enhancing workflows or reporting.
