As the successful candidate, you will play a critical role in the design, development, testing, and deployment of RPA solutions for our global client with a headquarters in Cork.
Key Responsibilities:
- Solution Design: Design RPA solutions using UiPath based on business requirements and process documentation. This includes creating process flowcharts, defining automation rules, and designing the user interface.
- Development: Develop RPA solutions using UiPath, adhering to best practices and coding standards. This includes configuring automation workflows, creating custom activities, and integrating with other systems and applications.
- Testing and Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough testing of RPA solutions, including unit, system, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure the solution meets quality standards and business requirements.
- Deployment: Deploy RPA solutions to the production environment, following change management procedures. This includes creating deployment packages, configuring robots, and scheduling automation jobs.
- Compliance and Security: Ensure all RPA solutions comply with relevant regulations and data security standards.
- Change Management and Training: Support change management activities to ensure smooth adoption of the process digitisation solutions and a successful transition from development to support once in production.
- Maintenance and Support: Provide ongoing maintenance and support for RPA solutions, including troubleshooting issues, applying patches and updates, and optimizing performance.
- Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor the performance of automated processes post-implementation. Provide regular reports on efficiency gains, error rates, and other relevant metrics.
- Continuous Improvement: Continuously identify opportunities for improving and optimizing automated processes. Take part in regular audits to ensure automation accuracy and effectiveness. Stay updated with the latest RPA tools and technologies.
Key requirements:
- A 3rd level honors degree qualification in Computer Science or a related field.
- 3 years of experience working with Business IT Systems, RPA tools, or AI-based automation technologies.
- Proficiency in UiPath and other RPA tools.
- Excellent programming skills, including experience with SQL and scripting languages.
- Preparedness to work in a dynamic and fast-moving environment.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving skills, and debugging skills.
- Good organizational, planning, and time management skills.
- Self-motivation with strong communication and presentation skills.
- Team player.
- You must have full working rights and be living in Cork/ Munster, Ireland. This is a hybrid role with an expectation to be onsite twice weekly.
Desirable requirements:
- Understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
- Knowledge of Oracle eBusiness Suite, Access HR, Intact IQ, or Agros Milk.
- Knowledge of MS-Dynamics CRM & SharePoint.
- Familiarity with process improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, CI).
