Role: Construction Project Manager - High-Rise Commercial Project
Location: Cork City
Salary & Package: €85,000 - €90,000 + Vehicle + Pension + Bonus
Our client, a leading Tier 1 Main Contractor based in Cork, is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead the delivery of a landmark high-rise commercial development in Cork City.
As Project Manager, you will take full responsibility for the planning, coordination, and execution of this prestigious project, ensuring it is delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will manage the full lifecycle of the build, from pre-construction through to handover, while leading a multidisciplinary project team and liaising closely with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day management of the project from inception to completion.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and programme requirements.
- Lead, mentor, and coordinate project teams and subcontractors.
- Develop and monitor project programmes, budgets, and progress reports.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and key stakeholders.
- Drive continuous improvement, innovation, and best practice on site.
Requirements:
- Proven experience delivering large-scale commercial or high-rise projects with a main contractor.
- Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
- Excellent knowledge of construction methodologies, safety regulations, and commercial awareness.
- Ability to problem-solve and make sound decisions under pressure.
