My client, a leading medical device manufacturing company, is looking for a Process Development Engineer to join their team based in Cork. This role offers a competitive hourly rate and flexible working hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead projects involving the identification, specification, introduction, management, and validation of new equipment, processes and products.
- Provide technical expertise and leadership in resolving technical processing issues and implementing process improvements.
- Design and implement new methodologies, materials, machines, processes, or products to bring concepts to market, ensuring all essential product and process documentation is completed.
- Gain a deep understanding of current processes, applying a hands-on approach to identify areas for improvement.
- Act as the subject matter expert (SME) for product processes, supporting or leading efforts related to product deviations, change controls, and CAPAs.
- Support validation activities in process manufacturing areas.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Degree in Engineering- Chemical, Mechanical or Biomedical is preferred.
- 2- 4 years experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated experience in managing the life cycle of products within the Pharma or Medical Device industry.
- Expertise in qualification and documentation for new product processes.
