Our client, a leading precision engineering company in Ireland, are seeking to hire an Operations Manager for their Cork site.
We are delighted to partner with this bespoke manufacturing leader as they grow their team in Cork. They are now seeking to hire an Operations Manager to join their team on a permanent basis.
Reporting to the CEO, as Operations Manager you will be responsible for the daily leadership and management of manufacturing activities and colleagues across production lines in line with strategic KPIs. Strong experience leading diverse team in a fast-paced environment would be essential to success in this position. The ideal candidate will own the entire manufacturing process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ownership and direction of daily production operations for the site.
- Building and continuing to uphold best in class quality standards across all functions.
- Responsibility for overall Health and Safety aspects.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Manage and plan headcount according to business needs.
Requirements:
- Strong manufacturing background at senior management level, ideally within a precision engineering or medical device business.
- Experience working in a regulated, proceduralised environment.
- Experience managing complex production activities with multiple client specifications in a cleanroom environment.
- Strong people management skills leading diverse teams.
- Track record of OpEx initiatives and results.
