We are seeking a high-energy, autonomous Manufacturing Engineer to lead complex technical projects within a dynamic, high-precision environment. This isn't a role for someone who wants to sit behind a desk- we need a "fixer" who takes absolute ownership of their equipment (including CNC and CMM machines) and has the drive to see projects through from concept to validation.
Key Responsibilities
- Ownership & Leadership: Lead significant engineering projects through the PMO, providing technical guidance to cross-functional teams.
- Process Optimization: Drive Lean manufacturing initiatives and continuously improve process performance.
- Automation & Integration: Serve as a key player in automation programs, overseeing the development, implementation, and system integration of automated equipment.
- Technical Troubleshooting: Identify root causes of failures and implement timely, robust resolutions. Take responsibility for FMEA, FDS, and SDS documentation.
- Quality & Validation: Manage equipment and material validation (IQ/OQ/PQ) while ensuring strict adherence to regulatory standards.
- Collaboration: Partner with Quality, Design, and Ops to embed rigorous testing and testability into every stage of development.
Requirements
- Education: Level 8 Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- Experience: 4+ years in a regulated manufacturing environment (e.g., MedTech, Aerospace, or Precision Engineering).
- Technical Skill: Proven experience with CNC/CMM equipment and a strong understanding of automation/test strategies.
- Project Management: Demonstrated ability to deliver business-critical projects on time and within scope.
- Mindset: A self-starter who works autonomously, makes confident decisions, and thrives in a fast-paced, "results-first" culture.
