Management Accountant - Permanent - Cork
Morgan McKinley are delighted to be working with a leading technology company who have an exciting opportunity for a Management Accountant to join their Finance team. Reporting directly to the Finance Director, you will play a crucial role in interpreting and reporting financial information to support strategic business decisions and maintain financial control.

Responsibilities
· Assist in preparing the annual budget and collaborate with various departments to monitor and control expenditures, providing monthly variance analysis for management review.
· Support inventory management and cycle counts, continuously reviewing stock levels and production utilization.
· Ensure accurate inventory valuation in compliance with company policies.
· Oversee the monthly close process in collaboration with the finance team, providing relevant analysis and commentary as needed.
· Participate in the preparation of annual financial statements and support audit processes as required.
· Contribute to budgeting and business planning, evaluating potential business opportunities.
· Engage in cross-functional process improvement initiatives.
· Collaborate with the finance team to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
· Provide support for financial accounting, accounts payable, and purchasing functions as necessary.
· Manage and report on cash flow.
· Recommend, update, and document policies and procedures in line with sound accounting principles and practices.
Ideal Candidate
· ACCA, ACA, CIMA, CPA Qualified with 3+ years PQE.
· Significant experience with ERP systems, including implementation.
· Strong financial analysis skills to interpret data and provide business insights.
· Proven ability in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
· Experience in producing management reports for strategic decision-making.
· Excellent communication with proven experience developing professional relationships with external and internal stakeholders.
· Thrives in a fast-paced busy environment and comfortable to work under pressure.
· Strong technical skills, highly numerical and analytical.
