Job Description
Role Purpose: The primary aim of this role is to provide comprehensive legal expertise and support to various functions within the organization, including international and regional divisions. Reporting to the Group Legal Counsel, the role demands the capability to work independently, offering advice and assistance in contract negotiations, mergers and acquisitions (M&A) activities, compliance issues, and other legal matters.
Role Scope: The role encompasses all legal activities across the group. It requires proficiency in general contractual drafting and negotiation within the Republic of Ireland, Northern Ireland, and internationally. The role also involves handling compliance issues, particularly in data protection, IT contracts, franchise agreements, and agreements with retailer customers. Responsibilities include M&A activities, organizing due diligence exercises, setting up compliance structures, and drafting standard terms and conditions and precedent documents.
