Our Client, an Irish owned business based in North Cork, is looking for a passionate and driven accounts assistant to join their energetic team, 5 days onsite, on a 12 month maternity leave contract. This role will require someone who can manage a fast paced environment and communicate across all departments of the company. Reporting directly to the Managing Director and Financial Accountant, this role offers great exposure to an innovative environment and a real opportunity to gain some new experiences within the accounts and service sector.
Key Requirements
- Ensure all orders are accepted within the manufacturing /supply capabilities of the company.
- Coordinate the receipt and acceptance of sales orders.
- Manage all relevant documentation related to sales orders and shipping.
- Management and coordination of the customer service role.
- Responsible for the preparation of customer order and weekly shipping schedules
- Prepare and issues certificates of analysis.
- Provide support and information to customers on the progress of all sales orders and shipping related issues.
- Investigate and resolve any customer queries.
- Management of all administrative issues.
- Maintain accurate files and data in relation to the business.
- Record purchase invoices on CRM system.
- Assist in the preparation of product costs and pricing, annual budgets and cashflow forecasts.
- Assist in the monitoring of stock items.
- Manage all bank transactions, payments, receipts and carrying out reconciliations.
- Manage Aged Accounts Receivable monthly.
- Coordinates with the Management Accountant to prepare the R&D Tax Credits
- Calculates Sales Commissions
- Upload payments and authorise payment.
Requirements
- 3+ years of work experience working within an accounts-based role.
- Relevant 3rd Level Qualification desired but not essential.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail with strong numerical ability.
- Proven track record in customer service.
- Demonstrated ability to work to tight corporate deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and communicate with all levels of the organisation and customers.
- Good working knowledge of computerised systems is required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office with a strong emphasis on Microsoft Excel.
- Experience in the use of Microsoft Dynamics desired.
- A food business/manufacturing knowledge would be an advantage.
