Fire Safety Officer

Long term contract opportunity for a Fire Safety Officer in the Cork/Kerry region, focusing on engineering-led fire safety compliance and risk management across facilities.​

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct of buildings, escape routes, fire systems, and equipment for compliance, maintenance, and optimal functionality.​
• Develop and review fire engineering plans, evacuation schemes, and technical fire orders, integrating building regulations and standards.​
• Lead fire drills, assess hydrants/water systems for firefighting capacity, and provide engineering reports on infrastructural risks to management.​
• Investigate fire incidents, recommend standardized fire safety equipment, and contribute to emergency planning and risk assessments.​

Requirements:

• HETAC Level 7 (or equivalent) in engineering, fire engineering, building services, or related technical field.​
• 3+ years in a fire safety or engineering role; proficient in Microsoft Office and fire prevention standards.​
