Key Responsibilities:

Act as the lead EHS contact for active and upcoming CapEx projects

Ensure all activities are compliant with HSA regulations, internal procedures, and relevant legislation

Review and approve Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) for project activities

Oversee contractor compliance with GA1 forms, CSCS card requirements, and site access protocols
-
Contribute EHS input during design-stage risk assessments and early project planning
-
Conduct regular EHS site inspections and audits across project areas
-
Deliver clear and engaging EHS inductions for contractors involved in CapEx projects
-
Liaise with project managers, engineers, and external contractors to ensure safe execution of work
-
Maintain thorough and timely documentation for EHS activities, including reporting and follow-ups
Experience & Qualifications:
-
3-5 years of EHS experience in CapEx project environments

Strong working knowledge of HSA regulations, project safety requirements, and contractor management
-
Experience with RAMS reviews, GA1 documentation, CSCS systems, and early-stage risk assessments

Confident delivering safety briefings and inductions to varied project stakeholders

Relevant EHS qualifications (NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent)

Excellent attention to detail and strong written communication/reporting skills
Desirable Skills:

Exposure to GMP environments or pharma industry is a plus

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and engage project stakeholders

Comfortable working both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
