Are you an experienced maintenance or reliability professional with a passion for improving how organisations manage and maintain their critical assets? Do you have practical experience using CMMS or enterprise maintenance systems and helping maintenance teams get the most value from them?
We are seeking a CMMS & Maintenance Optimisation Consultant to work with industrial organisations across Ireland and the UK to improve maintenance performance, asset reliability, and operational visibility through the effective use of digital maintenance systems.
This role combines hands-on knowledge of industrial maintenance environments with expertise in CMMS implementation and optimisation. You will work directly with maintenance managers, engineering teams, and operational leaders to help organisations structure their asset data, optimise maintenance strategies, improve work management processes, and embed best practices for maintenance planning and reliability improvement.
In this role, you will:
* Work with maintenance and engineering teams to configure and optimise CMMS platforms to support effective asset management and maintenance operations.
* Analyse existing maintenance practices, asset structures, and preventive maintenance programmes to identify opportunities for improvement.
* Support organisations in developing structured maintenance strategies that improve equipment reliability and operational efficiency.
* Facilitate workshops and working sessions with maintenance teams to support the adoption of improved maintenance processes and CMMS usage.
* Assist customers in improving asset data structures, maintenance plans, and reporting capabilities within the CMMS platform.
* Collaborate with implementation, product, and customer success teams to ensure successful delivery of services and long-term customer value.
* Contribute to the development of structured service methodologies and optimisation programmes used across the organisation.
Experience:
* Degree or equivalent qualification in Engineering, Maintenance Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Asset Management, or a related technical discipline or
* Significant practical experience in industrial maintenance, reliability engineering, or maintenance management roles
Desirable qualifications include:
* Professional certification in maintenance or reliability disciplines
* Asset management or reliability engineering certifications
* Training or certification relating to CMMS/EAM platforms
Hours & Location:
* 37.5 hours per week with flexibility depending on customer engagements and business needs.
* The role is primarily field-based and involves regular travel to customer sites across Ireland to support CMMS implementation, optimisation, and maintenance improvement engagements.
* Occasional travel to customer sites in the UK may be required depending on project needs.
* Due to the field-based nature of the role, the successful candidate must be able to travel to customer sites across Ireland. Access to a vehicle or other means of independent travel is required.
* The role, therefore, requires flexibility and willingness to travel as part of delivering professional services to industrial customers.
