Role: Customer Service Advisor
Hourly Rate: €14.15 per hour
Contract Type: Temporary (Full-time, 22nd June start date - ending 16th October)
Working Model: Fully Remote Training / Hybrid Post-Training (2 days office, 3 days home)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday (Rotational shifts: 09:00-17:00 / 09:30-17:30)
We are currently recruiting a team of Customer Service Advisors on behalf of a key Cork city business.
Operating in a modern, hybrid environment, you will be joining a supportive, team oriented operation.
Inbound Support: Handling phone queries from applicants and authorized parties regarding grant eligibility, application status, and payment timelines.
Omnichannel Queue Management: Once fully trained, you will seamlessly handle email and social media queries between phone calls.
Documentation Assessment: Assisting with document checklists. You will review accounts to ascertain why certain documentation may have been rejected and clearly explain what alternatives will suffice.
Advising on Grants: Helping applicants understand their award rates and the specific financial threshold brackets they qualify for.
Previous experience in a customer service, call center, or public-facing role is highly desirable.
Excellent communication and active listening skills-you will need to display empathy and patience with applicants.
Strong analytical skills to review account details and explain regulatory guidelines clearly.
Target-driven mindset comfortable with quality, adherence, and handling time metrics.
A quiet, secure home office setup with reliable broadband. (Working fully onsite can be accomodated if preferred.)

Classroom Training (22nd June - 3rd July): Fully remote, Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 17:00 (Includes 3.5 days of training).
Competitive Pay: €14.15 per hour, paid weekly.
Predictable Schedule: Monday to Friday hours (no weekends!). Shift rosters are provided 4 weeks in advance.
Overtime: Extra hours are regularly offered during peak periods for back-office trained advisors.
Leave: Pro-rata annual leave based on a 20-day standard.
Note: Due to critical peak campaigns, annual leave cannot be approved during the Priority Closing Campaign (6th-17th July) and the week following the Leaving Cert Results (24th-28th August).
