Are you an experienced Automation Engineer who enjoys solving complex technical challenges as
part of a supportive, close-knit team? We are seeking a Senior Automation Engineer to join a
well-established automation group supporting a leading Medical Device manufacturer in Cork City.
Please see an outline of the role below:
● Work as part of an expert automation team providing advanced troubleshooting support
across Robotics, PLCs, and Vision Systems.
● Lead and support the setup, commissioning, and optimisation of brand-new, high-spec,
special-purpose manufacturing lines
● Partner closely with engineering, manufacturing, and maintenance teams, contributing to a
culture where problems are solved together.
In this role, you will work alongside a team of highly experienced engineers who collectively act as the
site's technical authority for automation. This is a genuinely friendly and supportive working environment. You'll be joining a group that values knowledge-sharing, enjoys working together, and takes pride in being a great place to work.
Experience required to apply:
● Strong background as a time-served Automation Engineer with experience in special-purpose
machinery.
● Advanced troubleshooting capability across PLCs, Robotics, and Vision Systems.
● Experience in MedTech or Pharma is ideal; high-volume Automotive manufacturing
experience is also highly valued.
● A collaborative mindset and a desire to work as part of a team of experts.
