Accounts Payable Specialist

Morgan McKinley are proud to partner with leading Cork based manufacturing company in the recruitment of a Finance Assistant.

This position Cork based position will sit on the European Finance Team and will focus on the Accounts Payable function.

Core Responsibilities

• Invoice processing
• Bank reconciliations
• Processing payments
• Posting journal entries for month end close
• Supporting and resolving finance queries from customers and teams
• Working with the existing team to support projects and other aspects of financial reporting
• Liaising with other departments and supporting ad-hoc requests

Key Skills & Experience

• Experience working in a commercial finance department
• Month end close experience
• SAP experience an advantage
• Experience working with MS Excel to an intermediate (or higher) standard
• Excellent attention to detail
• Highly self-motivated and proactive
• Ability to work as part of a team
