IT Senior Technical Analyst, Permanent role based in Shannon
Reporting to the Technical support Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for the delivery, support and maintenance of IT infrastructure and software environments. This role is also pivotal in the implementation of infrastructure projects, changes and improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to employees via a ticket system, phone, email, chat, or remote access.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to MS Windows desktop and servers, technology, or related field.
- local IT infrastructure and various business applications e.g. Microsoft 365,
- SharePoint, Dynamics 365 and Dynamics Business Central.
- Participate in IT audits, risk assessments and compliance activities, as well as
- implement IT security measures and controls.
- Manage IT projects and changes (both infrastructure and software).
- Coordinate and manage development with external vendors.
- Identify new IT solutions and implement based on best practices.
- Install, configure and maintain IT hardware, software and network devices
- Monitor and report on IT system performance and security.
Required Skills:
- 5+ years IT project management and technical support experience, preferably in the aviation or finance industry.
- Associated degree or higher in computer science, information
- Expert in administration in a Microsoft environment.
- Excellent knowledge in IT hardware, including network devices, servers, workstations, printers, scanners and mobile devices.
- ITIL certified.
- Other relevant IT certifications desired.
- Ability to define the scope of problems/issues in terms of
- business and/or system requirements and processes.
- Effective communication skills to support all levels within the
- organisation.
- Ability to learn new technologies and skills quickly.
- Availability to work on-call and outside of regular business hours as needed
