We are seeking a Senior Health & Safety Manager to join our team on a major new Data Centre development in Belgium. Key Responsibilities
- Site Leadership: Oversee and implement all Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) management systems on site to maintain an industry-leading safety culture.
- Risk & Compliance: Drive proactive risk assessments, method statements, and ensure total alignment with both project specifications and Belgian local safety regulations.
- Subcontractor Engagement: Audit, monitor, and coach multi-disciplinary sub-contractors and site teams to ensure zero-compromise compliance.
- Incident Management: Lead thorough root-cause investigations, implementing corrective actions and reporting performance metrics to project stakeholders.
- Continuous Improvement: Innovate safety protocols tailored specifically to complex high-tech, MEP, and structural environments.
Candidate Profile
- Experience: 7-10+ years of dedicated experience in construction Health & Safety roles.
- Track Record: Proven history delivering high-value, large-scale construction projects.
- Preferred Sectors: Background in Data Centres, Pharmaceuticals, Advanced Manufacturing, Hospitals, or Large-Scale Commercial builds.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Strong working knowledge of European HSE legislation and site standards.
- Attributes: Decisive leader, exceptional communicator, and adaptable to rotational site life.
