Interim Finance Process & Controls Specialist - 6 Month FTC
£80,000 - £100,000 | Hybrid | Immediate start
We're partnering with a growing organisation going through a period of change and looking for a qualified finance professional to join on a 6-month fixed-term contract. This role will play a key part in integrating two centralised finance teams and strengthening financial processes, controls, and reporting.
What you'll be doing:

Support the integration of two centralised finance teams, ensuring minimal disruption

Map, document and improve finance processes for better control, efficiency, and scalability

Review and enhance existing financial controls to ensure compliance and robustness

Resolve complex balance sheet reconciliations and investigate aged items

Support change management initiatives and training across the finance function

Work with auditors (internal and external) during the transition period

Collaborate across departments to drive end-to-end process improvements
What we're looking for:

Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)

Strong knowledge of GAAP and experience in a controls-focused environment

Proven track record in process improvement and finance transformation

Excellent analytical skills and strong Excel ability

Confident communicator with strong stakeholder management skills

Able to work independently, prioritise and problem-solve effectively
