Financial Controller
Morgan McKinley is working with a successful privately owned business based in North Bristol, to recruit a Financial Controller.
The Role
Reporting into the Finance Director, the role will have responsibility for the finance function, including leading and developing a sizeable team. There is a great appetite and opportunity to really drive process improvements and get involved in an ERP implementation, and the key responsibilities of the role will include the following:
- Preparation of statutory accounts and leading the annual audit
- Recruitment, induction and performance management of the finance team
- Continuous review of processes to identify efficiency savings
- Production of key and easily understandable management information
- Ensure compliance with financial legislation and reporting obligations
- Cash flow forecasting and treasury management
- Consolidate and report on annual budgets and quarterly forecasts
The Person
To be considered for this role you will need to be bright, driven and a fully Qualified Accountant, with strong leadership skills and the ability to manage change through projects.
You might be looking for your first Financial Controller role, or perhaps have already worked as an FC and are looking to step up into a similar role in a larger business, and you will need to be customer focused, enthusiastic and positive, with the ability to understand the numbers and deliver quality information.
