Construction Manager - Water
A company who supply specialist services to the environmental sector internationally is looking for a Construction Manager to join their team. This role will involve working on water and wastewater treatment plants.
Oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion
Review the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs
Oversee all onsite and offsite constructions to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations
Lead the site team to deliver works across multiple work streams including Civil, Mechanical and Electrical.
Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors
Select tools, materials and equipment and track inventory
Review the work progress on daily basis
Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status
Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones
Negotiate terms of agreements, draft contracts and obtain permits and licences
Analyse, manage and mitigate risks
Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques
3 years working in a similar role
Holds a degree in a relevant area
Strong knowledge of Civil, Electrical and Mechanical Engineering
Water and wastewater treatment project experience
Good communication skills
Industry recognised Heath and Safety qualifications
Trustworthy and ethical approach, exercising discretion where required
Organised, structured and professional, with a passion for excellence
Flexibility, resilience and the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels
