Roles/Responsibilities
- Process payroll for employees in compliance with local regulations and company policies.
- Verify and reconcile payroll data, including timesheets, bonuses, and deductions.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, taxes, and benefits.
- Coordinate with HR and finance teams to ensure accurate employee data and timely payroll processing.
- Prepare payroll reports and analysis as required by management.
- Stay updated on changes in payroll laws and regulations in Japan.
Required skills
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in payroll processing, preferably in a multinational company.
- Proficient in Japanese payroll regulations and tax laws.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
