Roles/Responsibilities
- As the HR Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of human resources within our Japan office. This individual contributor role requires a proactive and detail-oriented professional who can work autonomously to handle HR functions efficiently. You will play a key role in ensuring compliance with local employment regulations while fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in compliance with local labor laws and company guidelines.
- Manage the recruitment and onboarding process, including sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and facilitating orientation sessions.
- Administer payroll and benefits programs, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related matters, including performance management, employee relations, and conflict resolution.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases.
- Coordinate training and development initiatives to enhance employee skills and capabilities.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in HR management.
Required skills
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in HR management, preferably in a multinational company.
- Strong knowledge of Japanese labor laws and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
- Fluency in both English and Japanese languages.
