Financial Reporting Specialist

Job Description

You will hold responsibility for reporting and overall financial operations.

Roles/Responsibilities

  • Preparing and reviewing financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
  • Analyzing financial data and preparing reports for internal and external stakeholders, including senior management, board of directors, investors, and regulatory bodies.
  • Conducting research and analysis on financial trends, variances, and discrepancies, and providing insights to support decision-making.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze financial data for reporting purposes.
  • Developing and maintaining financial reporting systems, tools, and processes to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
  • Ensuring compliance with internal controls and identifying opportunities for process improvements.

Required skills

  • Relative experience in accounting, finance, or related field within Financial Services industry.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in financial reporting or related field.

Preferred skills

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience with financial reporting systems, such as SAP or Oracle, and proficiency in Excel.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work with complex financial data.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
