Reward Analyst

£55,000 circa full time, would consider part time

London - central

The role is responsible for assisting the Reward Business Partner with support across all elements of reward and benefits administration including but not limited to; management information (MI) and HR systems, annual benefits review, ad hoc benefit analysis, wellbeing initiatives, salary & bonus year-end review, providing regular and ad-hoc MI, acting as a HR system super-user, providing second-level support for employees and managers, and assisting with any other HR projects as required.

Reward Administration

  • Update reward database (Excel) on a regular basis to ensure joiners, leavers, staff movements, compensation commitments and job matches have been accurately captured.
  • Support the Reward Assistant Manager with annual compensation benchmarking submission
  • Monthly Finance reporting for future bonus commitments.
  • Provide support to ad-hoc queries and reporting requirements
  • Support the Reward Business Partner with the year-end process where required
  • Ensuring all employee documentation (electronic and paper) is saved to the relevant employee file
  • Provide support to ad-hoc queries and reporting requirements.
  • Daily management of the Reward Inbox to ensure a timely replay to all employee emails
  • Support on the HCM project where required

Benefits Administration

  • Provide support to Benefits Manager on all aspects of Benefits administration
  • Support the Benefits Manager on the creation and maintenance of benefit & wellbeing toolkits
  • Manage the 3rd party benefits platform with the provider. This will involve uploading and downloading data, information management, including configuration changes and resolving queries.
  • Manage monthly reporting for the benefits portal, ensuring providers have relevant information
  • Process benefit invoices, ensuring fees reconcile with employee membership
  • Support the renewal of benefits on annual basis for all locations and entities.
  • Provide 'first-line' support for employee benefit related queries and work closely with HR Ops and Payroll to ensure seamless end-to-end processes
  • Create and maintain Reward & Benefit related pages on the Hub (intranet) to enable employee self-service.

MI and Data Analytics

  • Produce accurate metrics and analytics for MI using a range of media and sources, both internal and external.
  • Support the delivery of quality HR MI reporting and take ownership of assigned routine

reports, presenting complex data in thoughtful and clear manner using different media


  • Responding to benchmarking requests
  • Arrange meetings for the Reward & Benefits team
  • Produce supporting meeting material and presentations for the Reward & Benefits team
  • Create and maintain procedure documents for all critical Reward and Benefit processes.
  • Ensure SOX evidence file is maintained for SOX controls and Internal Audit requests.
  • Maintain all electronic and physical documents in support of the Company's reward and benefit plans
  • Assisting with the regular review of Reward and Benefit procedures and documentation, archiving historical reward and benefits data, documents etc
  • Act as a 'Super-User' for HR systems: Open HR, online benefits portal, Intertrust, Morgan Stanley, Curo etc.
  • Support other HR initiatives as required

To be considered for the role you will need to be:

  • Numerate with strong attention to detail and the ability to demonstrate an inquisitive approach to work
  • Interest in employee benefit and wellbeing initiatives
  • Detail focussed with good forward planning skills and ability to apply learning experiences to continually improve performance
  • Good understanding of technical HR systems, reporting and testing is essential
  • Experience of working within a confidential environment and/or HR team is desirable
  • Highly organised with demonstrable project management skills
  • Able to work under pressure whilst responding rapidly to changes and still meeting deadlines
  • Possessing drive, energy and pace with a continuous appetite to strive for excellence
  • Good management and team leading skills with the ability to prioritise and effectively plan multiple tasks
  • Clear and concise written, and oral communication and presentation skills
  • Good IT skills, familiar with Microsoft suite


  • Advanced user of Excel (pivot tables, VLookup, IF formulas) and have experience of large data-set management/extraction from a global HRIS. A high degree of numeracy is required.
  • Proven numeracy and literacy skills and be excellent communicator both written and oral
  • Highly organised with demonstrable project management skills managing the expectations of multiple stakeholders and delivering solutions for complex issues
  • Able to work under pressure whilst responding rapidly to changes and still meeting deadlines
  • Possessing drive, energy and pace with a continuous appetite to strive for excellence
  • The ability to prioritise and effectively plan
  • Exercise initiative, lateral thinking and flexibility.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail, with the ability to propose realistic recommendations
