Job Description

Product Manager - Technical

Morgan McKinley are pleased to be representing our client, a London based payments Fintech that are looking to expand into the European market, in hiring a Technical Product Manager.

The role

As a Technical Product Manager you will work closely with the Chief Product Officer and are responsible for their product area, and deliver impactful change autonomously, in line with the overall product strategy.

We are looking for self-starters to tackle interesting product problems and understand the technical abilities and future ideas of the product. Product responsibilities include:

Problem analysis and prioritisation: Taking complex and ambiguous product problems and structuring these effectively. This includes clearly defining the problem space, the impact of the problem and the trade-offs made in making prioritisation decisions.

Data-driven decision-making: Using data and broader market trends to support your trade-off decisions and problem impact estimations.

Influencing and communication: Building relationships with your team, stakeholders and executives to deliver change effectively across your remit.

Customer advocacy: Understanding the needs of your key customers on an ongoing basis, and using this to drive effective prioritisation decisions.

What we're looking for:

  • You have worked in a complex data domain where you can articulate simple value propositions for complex models and processes
  • You are ready to represent the product, always looking for opportunities to improve engagement and support customer success
  • 1-3 years of recent experience as an IT product manager or IT project manager
  • 2-5 years of previous experience as a full stack developer
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical individuals
  • Experience drive cross-team initiatives and collaborate with stakeholders across the organization
  • Strong requirement elicitation, analysis, domain modelling, use case modelling, workflow design, and documentation skills

If the above sounds of interest, please apply or email your CV to dweintroub@morganmckinley.com

Many thanks

Dave
