Are you an experienced Account Manager looking for the next step up and become an Associate Director within a Top 10 Accountancy Practice?

My client is a Top 10, highly renowned Practice based in Central London­­­. This is an opportunity for an experienced and driven Manager looking for the step in their careers to Associate Director within a fast-growing team! As Associate Director, a large portion of the job will be to help develop and grow the teams already extensive client base. Networking and Business development is a key aspect to this role and the firm actively looks for abilities to cross sell services; therefore, my client is looking for a confident and enthusiastic individual to come in and be able to undertake this task.

The team is split into two sub-specialist teams, accounting and advisory and financial reporting. You will have the opportunity to work directly with an impressive client base, from large corporates to SME's, and ensure accounts preparation work is completed to a high standard in advance of Audit. As Associate Director you will also work on the capital of the team, including budgeting, cost management, billing and debt recoverability.

As Associate Director you will be from either an Audit, Advisory or Financial Accounting background and either ACA or ACCA qualified, a strong understanding of Financial Reporting Standards, LLP SORP and UK GAAP is essential.

The role requires:

  • ACA/ACCA Qualified - ability to read and interpret accounting standards and apply these
  • A minimum of four years of experience at a manager level or above.
  • Excellent communication skills with proven experience of building lasting client relationships.
  • Experience with the preparation and review of consolidated accounts and cash flows.
  • An adaptable and collaborative team player able to work with others from all levels, ie from trainee to Partner.
  • Ability to cross sell products and services and bring clients into the business
  • Good leadership and team building skills
  • Excellent proficiency in MS Office products and other Accountancy software
