Morgan McKinley are currently recruiting a Demand Planning Analyst to join a globally recognised FMCG. This is a permanent role based in Kilkenny with a hybrid working model.
The Demand Planning Analyst will play a key role in the supply chain team and will be responsible for creating demand forecasts across in the short- and long-term horizon to help drive insights and ensure informed decision making across key stakeholder groups.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Produce 13 week rolling demand plan each week.
Provide weekly analysis of the plan versus budget sales and stock targets.
Produce an 18 month rolling demand plan with appropriate level of detail and timing.
Collaborate with Categories to consider commercial inputs into Demand planning, challenges those inputs if needed
Liaise with key stakeholders to reconcile business and demand plans within appropriate agreed S&OP time horizons
Analyse data to drive insights to inform decision making across key stakeholder groups.
Recommend key business decisions based on historical data and trend lines.
Create automated dashboards and data visualizations to track KPI's
Produce daily risk reports and daily shortage reports
Generate a base forecast of anticipated future demand.
Analyse the forecast as appropriate by SKU, material group, horizon, category, channel, geographic region etc.
3+ years' experience in Demand planning/Supply chain operations
Complex and dynamic forecasting and planning environments
End to end planning processes
Developing and maintaining dashboards for sales, strategy, operations etc
Lean or 3M experience - Green belt an advantage
