Job Description

Our client, a reputable retail company is looking for an all-rounded HR Manager with can-do attitude and able to work well with the China team

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and programs that align with the organization's goals and objectives.
  • Manage the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, training and development, and offboarding.
  • Oversee the recruitment and selection process, working closely with hiring managers to identify staffing needs, create job descriptions, and conduct interviews.
  • Develop and implement effective onboarding programs to ensure seamless integration of new employees into the organization.
  • Lead performance management initiatives, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and professional development plans.
  • Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Handle employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance procedures.
  • Manage compensation and benefits programs, including salary administration, bonus plans, and employee benefits enrollment.
  • Oversee employee training and development initiatives, identifying skill gaps and implementing programs to enhance employee capabilities.
  • Lead diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives to promote a diverse and inclusive work environment.
  • Work with Shanghai team for HR initiatives
  • Manage and collaborate with external vendors and consultants as needed for HR-related services.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field; a master's degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
  • In-depth knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment laws and regulations.
  • Demonstrated experience in talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, and training and development.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a proactive and solutions-oriented mindset.
  • Highly fluent English, Mandarin and Cantonese
