Infra Project Manager (insurance), contract

Job Description

Looking for an experienced PM with infrastructure and cloud project experience to join a top tier insurance firm in Hong Kong

Responsibilties:

• Manage Project implementation in multiple technical areas, including Desktop, Server, Cloud, Network and Security
• Manage project budget, plan and resources allocation
• Drive technical team to deliver businses values
• Prepare project performance and status reports/ documenttation
• Host regualr meetings with stakeholders including management and vendors
• Liaise with various global and regional stakeholders including IT, Risk, Compliance, Operations etc.
• Communicate with senior management on project status, updates and escalation

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or relevant disciplines
• Professional qualification in project management eg. PMP, ITIL
• At least 5 years of experience in hands-on project management experience, preferably from insurance/banking industry
• Experience working with regional and global teams
• Extensive project management skills in planning, budgeting, tracking, status reporting, stakeholder management, etc.
• Understanding of various technology platforms across Desktop, Systems, Servers, Data Center, Storage etc.
• Sound experience in large-scale system integration project
• Technical solid experience in supporting and managing infrastructure environment
• Strong leadership, communication and vendor management skills
• Great problem solving and analytics skills
• Excellent communication skills in English
