Job Title: Supply & Demand Planner Location: Farnborough
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000Hours: Currently working a combination of home and office work (2/3 days office based). Mon-Fri. 38 hours per week.Parking: YesBenefits include 25 days holiday + bank holidays I am currently recruiting for a Supply & Demand Planner to join a global organisation located in Farnborough on a full-time permanent basis. The experienced Supply & Demand Planner will manage the company wide demand, forecasting and supply process to ensure that customer product availability expectations are maintained. Responsibilities include: * Responsible for the effective operation and maintenance of the business Planning/Forecast package and ensuring optimum business and group supply is established and in place. Right inventory in the right place at the right time. * Develop demand forecasts for the UK and EU Business units. Support the development of a robust demand plan agreed by UK, EU and global sales teams and senior Management. * Drive availability by analysing performance of forecast at Stock Keeping Unit levels versus actuals and plans. * Work closely with all stakeholders across the business to ensure that new products are created in the forecasting and demand tool so that launch dates can be met * Manage any additional forecast process improvement projects including initiatives to align processes within the global Group and business units by best utilizing implementation software as available. * Work closely with the finance department on revenue and profit forecast projections for the preparation of annual sales budgets. * Provide input to help developing inventory strategies and analysis. * Support Customer Services in managing allocation of stock in situation of shortages. * Preparation of periodic inventory and planning reports (stock clearance reports, stock on hand, reservation report, operations meeting etc) * Analyse inventory at risk. Develop plans working closely with Sales and Marketing to minimize actual and potential inventory obsolescence * Work closely with Supply Chain Manager to deliver Supply and Demand KPI's to be published monthly. * Provide support in achieving on-time delivery and stock availability commitments * Monitor delivery of inventory/non-inventory goods to ensure timely delivery. * As the Business is undergoing significant optimization in the next 12 to 18 months you will play a role in implementing and owning new software solutions and continuous improvement projects. Requirements: * Degree qualified * Minimum 3 years previous experience in a Demand, Supply, Forecast & Planning role * Ecommerce/Amazon demand planning experience is a clear advantage * Ability to speak German would be ideal but not essential * Good grasp of statistics/data analysis and forecasting control techniques with knowledge of MRP * Strong communicator at all levels, strong commercial drive, able to balance the needs of multi-professional stakeholders in a Global business. * Experience of Demand Planning software, knowledge of Business Central365/MS Navision advantageous * Must be highly numerate with advanced Excel including pivot tables, lookups, data analysis functions, macros, graphs, flowcharts etc * Able to work autonomously, proactive with a hands-on attitude
