Job Description

Are you an experienced Payroll Specialist based in Ireland? We have an exciting 12-month remote opportunity for a skilled professional to join our client's team

Our client is looking for a temporary payroll specialist to join their continuously growing business on a 12-month basis initially. This contract would see the successful candidate working remotely from Ireland and gaining experience in processing EMEA payroll and supporting with planned internal system migration projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurate and timely processing of Irish Payroll on a bi-weekly basis
  • Accurate and timely processing of other assigned entities monthly
  • Collaborating with relevant teams to ensure compliance with payroll policies and procedures.
  • Handling queries and resolving discrepancies related to payroll.
  • Utilising strong Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
  • Maintaining confidentiality and ensuring data security.
  • Ad-Hoc duties to support wider finance function if/when required.

Key requirements

  • Essential: Minimum 2-3 years of experience in processing Irish Payroll.
  • Desirable: Familiarity with UK Payroll processes.
  • Ideal Candidate will have third party processing experience.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Proven ability to work independently and take initiative.
