Your Role:
To deliver for our customers, we collaborate with a range of third-party providers to grow the innovative range of products and services we offer, as one of Ireland's leading Retail and SME Banks. You will ensure all activities conducted are following governing regulations, internal policies, and procedures. Additionally, you will oversee the ongoing relationship with the third parties, monitor their performance and work to enhance the overall resilience and reliability of the supply chain. The TP/SRM specialist will support transformation, standards, process and tool development.
Your Team:
You will be a member of a commercially focused Third Party Management Team focusing on identifying, assessing and mitigating risks associated with Third parties and where your ideas and input will be valued and make a real difference.
Your Responsibilities:
Day to day delivery:
- Work with senior management, programme teams, and key stakeholders to establish standards, policies and tools required for effective third-party management.
- Contribute to the creation and adaption of essential tools, by developing content in collaboration with SMEs.
- Gather and consolidate information from various sources, internally and externally, to inform making judgments and insights.
- Document and visualise processes, workflows, admin activities, user guidelines, etc., to translate policy into actionable outputs for the business.
- Proactively seek out feedback internally as part of the development cycle and evaluate impact with a view to continuous improvement.
- Support senior management across programme activity, including reporting, submissions, board and committee papers, and ad hoc requests essential to deliver upon our strategy.
- Act with purpose, driving momentum across activities to meet multiple priorities in tandem
- Attend (and occasionally represent) various working groups as required.
- Build strong working relationships with key stakeholders across 1st and 2nd lines of defence.
- Question the status quo to find smarter, more intelligent, and efficient ways to achieve our objectives.
Lead an Inspiring Culture:
- Champion the standards and practices required for high-quality third-party management, supporting associated reviews, capturing lessons learned and embedding a culture of continuous improvement.
- Champion/ inspire a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems, and knowledge.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Build working relationships with peers and key stakeholders across Group Risk, Operations, Finance, and other relevant functions.
- Represent as required in working groups, committee meetings, and other internal forums.
Risk Management:
- Reinforce the governance priorities of the third-party landscape by embedding these in practical solutions.
- Ensure all activities conducted are following governing regulations, internal policies, and procedures.
- Understand how the Bank's risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.
Requirements:
Essential
- Experience of Risk Management, preferably specialising in Third Party Risk, with a clear understanding and knowledge of the risks associated with introducing third-party suppliers.
- Proven ability to effectively communicate complex information to a business audience.
- Capable of building positive relationships internally and externally, in-person and virtually.
- The ability to multi-task, prioritise and maintain focus on driving towards a positive outcome.
- Highly skilled in Microsoft Suite, including but not limited to PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, Teams.
Desired
- Experience of risk management in a financial services setting
- A 3rd Level Qualification in Risk, Procurement, or other relevant discipline.
- Experience in project management, a change initiative, or transformation programme.
- Energetic team player with drive to sustain momentum through change.
