Senior Application Security Engineer

solutions that help major organizations to leverage the value of data while meeting the
highest standards of personal data protection set out by the GDPR and other leading
global regulations, including the CCPA in California and the LGPD in Brazil. Following

flagship anonymization service to offer a portfolio of software and SaaS solutions, and
we are currently driving international expansion in Asia Pacific, North America and Latin

Trūata is now recruiting for a Senior Application Security Engineer to join their Security
Team in Dublin. This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly innovative company that is
at the forefront of privacy tech.

The role will report to our Head of Information Security and will work alongside four
other team members. You will have an opportunity to work with cutting edge
technologies across a broad spectrum of security initiatives including Application and
Data Security, Security Monitoring and Operations, Infrastructure and Network
Security, and public cloud security to name a few.

The Role
 Build and support enterprise grade security tools and services
 Develop, build, deploy, and support security specific solutions and
infrastructure to help protect Truata's application services and data
 Enhance existing approaches to security engineering
 Perform security analysis of web applications and web services and
understand the threats, attacks and risks in a cloud native environment
 Partner with Developer team, Site Reliability & Cloud Engineering teams to
solve complex design & operational challenges
 Write and maintain sustainable, high-quality, high-performance code for
infrastructure and security automation
What you need
 5+ years' experience as a software engineer, security engineer or DevOps
engineer
 Experience developing in a modern programming language ( Python, Spring,
Angular, Java 8+, Scala)
 Background in developing, deploying, and supporting security specific
solutions including the automation of repeatable security tasks and controls
 Experience with running server orchestration solutions in production
(Kubernetes (AKS, IKS), Docker)
 Previous experience designing and deploying Security controls for
microservice architectures
 Significant knowledge of Linux
 Ability to communicate effectively to different stakeholders (senior
management, peers, junior colleagues, external teams using our platform)
 Experience working in an Agile environment / with Agile development
methodologies

 Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent combination of education
and experience
 Demonstrated ability to work in a production focused organization
