Morgan McKinley is pleased to be working with one of the leading providers of Financial Services in Ireland. We are collaboratively looking for a Retail Recovery Restructures Administrator for a 3-month temporary contract.

The Role:

The job holder is responsible for assessing Standard Financial Statements for pre- arrears and arrears customer in financial difficulty and proposing relevant resolution options to credit

Responsibilities:

  • The successful candidate will assist in delivering an efficient, accurate and professional service to the business units and a description of the role is outlined below:
  • Responsibility for the assessment of pre-arrears, arrears and SME borrowers in adherence with
  • CCMA and MARP and the proposal of alternative repayment arrangements in line with Credit policy
  • Fully verify, assess and challenge Standard Financial Statements and accompanying corroborating documents provided from clients in view of their applications for restructuring.
  • Preparation of credit applications for presentation to credit committee within agreed timeframe from receipt of application.
  • Achieving weekly/monthly targets as set by Management
  • Working closely with various ASU Teams and Credit Department to ensure actions and referrals are progressed in a timely manner.
  • Reviewing proposals for property sales, voluntary surrenders and the escalation of accounts in line with ASU strategy and the preparation of credit applications where appropriate.
  • To collect overdue payments from the client base and assertively negotiate with clients who are in arrears in line with current ASU strategy and policies.
  • Ensure adherence to internal and external credit risk policies and procedures and highlight non-compliance.
  • To work in line with the company's lending and compliance policies and in-line with the overall collections strategy and process.
  • Maintain good relationship with loan officers to ensure SLA's are complied with.

Essential Skills & Abilities

  • The successful candidate will typically have a minimum of 3 years' experience within a similar environment.
  • APA Loans and regulations minimum.
  • Relevant third level qualification or professional equivalent.
  • Previous experience in an ASU / Credit Assessment environment related to residential mortgage lending.
  • Can demonstrate an understanding of debt collection and enforcement processes.
